Ukrainian Vogue presents a new print issue – winter 2024/2025
The winter print edition of Vogue Ukraine Edition No. 8 is published with the slogan "real and imaginary." On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, it is dedicated to fantasies that help us understand life and master reality.
The editorial team travels the planet in search of inspiration. The publication's pages contain stories about fashion stars from Milan and Paris who invite the public into imaginary worlds and jewellery masters who use folklore and myths in their work. London-based writer and beauty expert Tish Weinstock sings the praises of freedom-loving heroines of the new Gothic, and the editors of international Vogue publications talk about favourite places and secret addresses in the most vibrant cities on the planet.
In his first interview with Vogue Ukraine, young Kyiv actor Vitaliy Azhnov, who plays star roles in the performances of Caligula and Mary Stuart at the Franko Theater, reflects on the responsibility of an artist and talks about preparing for his debut leading role in the film – Kazimir Malevich in the drama directed by Daria Onyshchenko "Malevich".
The issue also features an interview with Irish actress Saoirse Ronan about her new victories on the big screen and a conversation with iconic American director Tim Burton. At the invitation of Vogue, he acted as a photographer – he photographed his partner on screen and in life, actress Monica Bellucci.
Polish photographer Karolina Pukovec, the cover artist, shot a festive story inspired by the world of figure skating in Paris. Italian photographer Marco Imperatore travelled to multicultural Marseille to shoot a colourful cruise story. Ukrainian self-taught photographer Daniil Kotlyar debuted on the publication's pages with a project about the roles women play throughout their lives: daughters, partners, and mothers.
A beauty supplement is traditionally published alongside the winter issue of Vogue Ukraine. It is dedicated to revolutionary rejuvenation techniques and emotional well-being.
