Ukrainian Vogue presents a new printed issue — autumn 2025
The autumn issue of Vogue Ukraine is dedicated to the theme of observation and reflection – it is a story about ourselves and the world around us.
For the first time in the publication's history, all the central shots of the issue were taken by young Ukrainian talents. At the invitation of the editorial office, Lviv photographer Yurko Kalichak went to Kanev, 29-year-old Daniel Weisberg from Kharkiv shot in Berlin, and Crimean photographer Anna Brudna – in Paris. Artist Elena Subach, winner of this year's FUTURESPECTIVE photo contest, initiated by Vogue Ukraine, prepared a project about young Ukrainian mothers in Lviv.
The big cover shoot took place in wartime Kyiv – over the course of five days, 29-year-old photographer and regular contributor to the publication Stepan Lisovsky, together with curator Nadia Shapoval and stylist Victoria Filipova, took a series of portraits of Ukrainian youth. The heroes of this portfolio were young models, as well as new Vogue heroes: 19-year-old world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling among juniors, Yegor Yakushenko; journalist and writer Anna Lodygina; world champion in epee fencing Vlada Kharkova; artist Kristina Melnyk and 16-year-old violinist Pavlo Ulyanchenko, who performs as a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.
Continuing the literary tradition, Ukrainian Vogue publishes a new autobiographical story by a rising star, 24-year-old author and veteran Artur Dron. One of the most successful Ukrainian writers, Serhiy Zhadan, reflects on the role and responsibility of an artist in relation to modernity and history in an exclusive interview.
The heroines of the new issue are the domestic tennis star Marta Kostyuk, British designer Sarah Burton, a professor at Yale University, American curator of Ukrainian origin Marta Kuzma, model, photographer and DJ Kate Underwood, and American actress and activist Pamela Anderson.
Along with the issue, a traditional beauty supplement is being published, dedicated to global novelties and trends in self-care, nutrition and sports.
