The new print issue of Vogue Ukraine Edition No. 12 is dedicated to cherished dreams and the path that must be overcome to achieve them. The hero of the collection cover, Yura Romanyuk, proves that the journey is just as important as the goal. This year, the 23-year-old model from Kherson was included in the list of the 50 most successful models in the world. His portfolio includes participation in women's shows for Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, and Simone Rocha, as well as current advertising campaigns for Gucci and Miu Miu.
At the invitation of the editorial office, Yura went to Connecticut, where, against the backdrop of American landscapes, he posed for photographer and contributor to Ukrainian Vogue Stuart Vainkoff. The story, featuring couture outfits by Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, and Nina Ricci, as well as vintage sweaters and T-shirts, is a modern homage to the classic grunge photoshoots published in American Vogue in the 1990s.
Traditionally, Vogue Ukraine supports domestic talents. The winner of the FUTURESPECTIVE 2025 award, photographer Alina Prisich, while travelling through the Hutsul region, created a dreamy research project about Ukrainian youth who remain to live and create in small mountain villages.
Alongside them, the heroes of the issue are dreamers and daredevils who make history and set new canons in fashion and art. Belgian designer Mathieu Blasi took over as the creative director of Chanel in April and is now brilliantly reinventing the legendary Parisian House. Visionary Anthony Vaccarello, the author of the most seductive collections for Saint Laurent, produces independent films that collect awards at festivals in Venice and Cannes. Legendary artist Marina Abramović presented a major retrospective dedicated to her complex relationship with her partner in life and work, Ulay. On the eve of her 80th anniversary, she is working on "the biggest project of her life"- the opera-performance "Balkan Erotic Epic."
The literary section reinforces the theme, as evidenced by the winter issue of Vogue Ukraine, where writer Karina Savaryna penned a sensual fantasy story about loneliness, friendship, and dreams.
Traditionally, a beauty supplement is published with the printed issue, dedicated to bold experiments in makeup, careful self-care, revolutionary gadgets for beauty and health, and the main procedures and spa resorts that improve the quality of life.
