What you need to know about the Art for Tomorrow 2024

Conference Since 2015, The New York Times has held an art conference called Art for Tomorrow. The purpose of the event is to understand how art affects our society. The program is hosted by experienced journalists of The New York Times, who, together with experts, activists and practitioners, discuss pressing questions about the connection between art, politics and public life. The following Art for Tomorrow conference will be held in Venice from June 5 to 7, 2024, under the theme of Imperfect Beauty.

Venice is an ideal setting to discuss socially essential topics, such as how cities and cultural sites can preserve their heritage without becoming victims of their success due to excessive tourism. How can museums and monuments protect themselves from the inevitable impact of the climate crisis? How should institutions and artists interpret and reflect the problems of the population? These are just some of the issues that will be addressed at Art for Tomorrow this year. However, the event's central theme will be how art can unite and heal.
